... how do it get it on search engines on the www?  Do I have to add it individually to each one.  Is it worth paying money to a company to do it for you? Does adding the keywords (sorry cannot remember techie term) to the headers of each webpage actually help?  Is this an ongoing thing that needs to be done regularly??

I find the best way is to get other sites to link to you. Then the search engines will pick you up.

Might be worth you setting up a Google sitemap aswell.
