Excellent, when i'm on next I'll go about starting a melon farm

I'm going to have to expand the greenhouse I think.

Some interesting constructions going on.

Someone took out part of my chicken farm, and let the chickens go. Also, who threw a brick at my greenhouse, took me ages to find out where the chickens were getting in!

Interesting to see you can have locked chests?!?

We've had a problem with creepers, so I've been rebuilding what I can.  If you find my ball, can I have it back Mister?

Have you played with the locked chests yet?

I'm enjoying going out hunting with my bow and arrow.  Creepers be gone!

How do you make them?

I'm all for open access, seems my fave thing to do is resource gather for stuff for other people more than to make things anyway, but can see the benefit of a personal chest.

There were some furnaces with lava in them, but I couldn't roast a chicken using it?!?!

Yeah, how do you make the locked chests? I'd like a personal chest just for dangerous stuff like TNT or that I'm going to use but not yet that I don't want to go in my shared stash.

By the way, mine is the half finished Skytower overlooking town 1, I'll signpost it at some point, I've been too busy scouring the seabed for clay (I'm really running out of resources!)

Yeah, but it's not that efficient compared to charcoal

All I'll say is keep a hold of the tree sapling/seedlings, as when the coal runs out we'll need to make a renewable forest

What's the deal with the lava in the furnaces though, it doesn't do anything?!?!

There's nothing interesting in my chests, I was just playing about with them.

To make a locked chest, make the chest, then stick a sign on it.

That's my doing, I had some left over from making traps, and I didn't want to keep carrying it round in buckets :s
It used to be that Lava would be like coal but last longer, but it no longer seems to be the case.

That sucks, I was going to get a lava bucket to power my furnace but if that's no longer the case I'll be sticking with my renewable charcoal.

Put in a good evening on the new server today, I now have my beach side villa...

Wow, things have really changed in the last 24 hours since I logged in. My greenhouse had gone over, with a massive gaping hole in the side of it, and the "Home base" has been creeper blasted to hell.

I'm thinking I might move my greenhouse and resource store into a "skybase" that will ultimately only be accessible by teleport
