Mobs is cool, but the world generated is mental, Crazy amount.

Difficulty = easy
No option for spawn protection.

We just need to secure the spawn point a bit with torches etc then it won't be a problem.

I had heaps of torches up around my little shack and got blew up spawning in it 3 times, lol.
Always dam hard to start fresh in this game but this world really is mental, lol.

If anyone is trying to login today and getting a 503 type error its because Minecraft auth servers are down at the moment.

can't reach server and googling says common cause is port server not open properly?

I think we've just had a bad weekend, daddycheese is down for me, so I think it's been one problem followed by another and not really down to the server setup. It should all be very straightforward.

I've stopped the server and I'm going to do a restore from yesterday morning, we'll see how it goes.

It is, actually has a lot of minecraft issues addressed with the mod too. Just seems server is having a poo, lol.

I've opened a support ticket as the restore didn't work, I think it's something to do with the server itself.
