Two things...

1. Why not get an ip forwarding service - i.e. DynDNS or No-ip (I use the latter, only as I always have, DynDNS is possibly better) You'll then keep the same name and just have to change the IP when you get a new one, run the software on the same IP and It'll auto update!

2. Are you sure that Minecart Mania is working properly, not sure the gold blocks are working, the /momentum in the chat window thing doesn't work?

I'm trying to get a subdomain from my main domain to point to it, I can't really have an DynDNS service running on the office router.

I'll double check the logs.

I've pointed minecraft.littlegreengeek.co.uk to the ip address, but it doesn't seem to want to go.

Well I had a load of items and this week well on the way building up a place. I had made a platform on the lake, I had dug into the ground under it I had windows just showing the ocean and the up top elements I turned into part of the landscape so it blended in etc. All gone

Hmmm, sure you aren't just in a different part of the map, I think the reset would have lost your inventory, but all my other stuff is here, although noticed some parts of the map has changed!
