Wow this is still going? I will have to logon and see what has changed I haven't played for ages, when it was still alpha. Any tek projects going on?

I've attempted to make Creeper Alley a trap, using redstone.
If anyone wants to fix my mess, they are more than welcome to have a go.  There is a switch in place, and redstone dust in the upstairs room.

I'm giving farming a go (The uber greenhouse)

Currently it's slow going as I am only getting a small increase in seeds every time I harvest, but once there's enough to fill the greenhouse I want to work on some kind of irrigation system. Wheat doesn't need water, but I've read a quick way of harvesting it is to run water over it...so I'm thinking some kind of system to flood the greenhouse and then dry will make a rapid harvest technique

I thought about setting up something like that too, apparently bonemeal is great for quickly growing crops. Also, melons produce a massive amout of crop.

Need a melon from a dungeon first though?

Now that wheat production is coming along, we have a small amount of bread available.

Though we can also use the wheat with sugarcane, milk and eggs to make a cake. We have eggs, sugar, wheat, just need the milk...

I got my drawbridge working.

Pull the lever near the base, and it opens up a firey pit.

When I cba to mine obsidian, i'll rebuild the walls in it so they don't get damaged as easy.
The base of the lava is obs, so if you're digging underneath it, for the love of god stop when you hit it!

I raided a nearby towns wheat farms, we've now got loads of seeds and wheat, which means quite a bit of bread.

I've also made a couple of cakes, but it doesn't seem worth the effort of getting eggs and milk to make as the bread heals more hunger points for less work.

If people get cocoa beans though we can make cookies which should be much better.

Any food items if they can go in the food chest it'd be great. I might see if I can sort out a chicken/pig/cow farm

The cocoa beans I found in the dungeon are in one of the chests, feel free to use to make cookies

I've built a deep pit, which apparently is the best way of accumulating eggs, as everything except chickens will die when they fall into the pit.

Once we've had the usual suspects on, I think I'll whitelist it.
