Surprised not to see a thread on this yet. It was always on the cards with the success of the first 3 movies and over the Xmas period it became official with 2 movies planned after the legal issues over money etc from the last movies was sorted.

New bilbo so he is younger same gandalf and elves being cast, whatsit is not directing but producing now, same smeagal of course etc and filming in NZ again

We are watching out for this as I am going to apply for an extras role, want to be an ork, since I am 6ft 2 and getting a bigger frame all the time would fit the requirements they had for the last  film after the army ones
Or just something else would be cool
