Specifically an AMD Phenom II X2 550 Black Edition but getting rather out of the loop where AMD are concerned. Anyone else got one of these/tested one?

I,m a bit out of the loop nowadays but read some good reviews about them.It looks for some applications are they are extremely good & the apps where they dont shine it isnt by a great deal.
If i was building a new system i would definatley consider them , all comes down to cost versus speed & upgradabilility.

I know sh*ts bad right now with all that starving bullsh*t and the dust storms and we are running out of french fries and burrito coverings.

This is my processor: AMD Phenom Quad-Core 9850 BE (Agena)

ITs one of the earlier Quad core model, and as such does kick out a bit of heat, but otherwise I throughly recommend it.

Stable and reliable in XP for the last 12months - Used almost daily for gaming.

Ive just dropped a 9650Be in my desktop, and after sticking a nice Zalman on the to of it, its working at about 40*C under full load testing.
