I have Dual Monitors setup on Extended Desktop with the 2nd picture outputting to my LG 1080P TV, the issue is that down one side of the screen there is a 1/2 black line like the picture isn't centered correctly, but i can see no option to adjust this under the settings.

I am using Windows 7.

Help appreciated! 

is it always there ?  i didn't notice it....

normally means your pc is set to the wrong resolution and the TV can't scale/stretch it to fit :-)

The girlfriend just got a 37" LG and hooking up to the laptop, it doesn't seem to pixel map 1:1 either, however there is an option in the menu for how it maps pixels, and if you do auto it doesn't do it correctly, I think you have to force to exact (although the quality isn't quite right on the GFs) As where my samsung does perfect 1:1?!?!

Just to eliminate the obvious from what Alan said, but you are outputting to the screen at 1920x1080 aren't you?

RTFM for your TV, you might need to check certain settings.

Also might help to know what graphics are you using on the computer, you have tried updating the drivers?

Usually the tweaks are in the card software and not in windows standard settings?

In regards to my previous post, I think the setting is defaulted to "just scan" and you need to change it, that got rid of some of the black border issues I was having..

Everything is greyed out except 16:9 and 4:3, i cannot see an option for pixel map on the tv unfortunately, i'm using a Radeon 4850 with updated drivers and it didn't fix it, i'll take a look in the driver menu's for the GPU now.

Extended Desktop.

Monitor set to 1680x1050
TV set to 1920x1080

And yes, the black line is always there! I'm shocked you didn't notice it, but then that movie was utter sh*te anyway

Ok, temp fixed it by installing Catalyst and playing with the little "drag the picture" menu, when i click apply it applies settings, but as soon as i load a new video source it goes back to normal.

What sort of connection you using? Is it there if you use mirror rather than extended? ....Have a play with overscan maybe.
