Does anyone get even a half-way decent PS2 picture on their TFT monitor?  The pic is fuzzy and has compression artefacts all over the place... :(

I think the only way was one of those special adapters which wernt that cheap. Rivkid used to have one for his Xbox i think.

Ok answer is yes you can get a great picture! You either need a really good VGA box (most are from HK but you still need to get a good one coz the cheap ones give an awful picture) or get one of these : http://www.x2vga.com/

I highly recommend buying one of you can find them because they really are incredible. My Xbox looks HD through it on my 19" TFT.

EDIT : Holy sh*t theyre in stock! That never happens. Go buy one!!
Career, Wife, Mortgage... my sig was better when it listed guitars and PC's and stuff!

Cheers!  8-)  :whoops:

Ive read that console games are only 480p and this wont upscale them?...  Im not looking for (or expecting) HD quality - all I want to do is play (Wii and PS2)  on my monitor either slightly smaller than full screen, or full screen and... better that the sh*tty pic is is now - with composite cable - without it making me want to murder small children.

:)

Eagle

Talking of smaller pics, does anyone know how I can get the picture to display smaller (that would do)?

I only seem to be able to get it to show full screen, with the attendant magnification of grottyness...

:)

Leon

Ive seen the Wii on TFTs and looking brilliant but cant tell you what cable they were using.

For the 360 Ive used HDMI, Component, Scart, RGB and VGA on both my Dell 24 Ultra Sharp, Samsung TV and 42" Samsung Plasma and the best by far picture wise is the VGA.

Thanks.  Was that full-screen?  When you say VGA - was that a VGA box?

Leon

Full 1080i using the official VGA cable: Amazon

Again this is the 360 not the Wii, as I said before Im not sure what cable they were using when I saw it ages ago :)

Cheers.  Still not too sure.

From the X2VGA2 site: what does this mean?: "Now the X2VGA 2 has been out of stock."

WTF?

Eagle

If an LCD monitor has component inputs, will it handle the picture ok?
