Im considering a Toshiba G20-156 Qosmio Laptop - brief specs below.

Anyone have any experience of them?

Ive not used one, the spec is very nice but I would have expected the 2GHz chip for around 1400 quid.

Its a bit average in the GFX games dept tbh which is putting me off - I dont play a lot but Id like the ability to play occasionally with decent graphics and frame rate..

The other one Im looking at is the Advent 7092, specs below..

better GFX card, more ram etc ...but that sexy piano black of the Qosmio and a screen to die for !

That sexy piano black will become a bloody horrible mess of finger and palm prints within 14.862 seconds of you taking it out of the box

probably suffers the usual problems, big, heavy and relatively short battery life. Great if you want a Desk Top Replacement but nort if you want something to use on the go.

And easily wipe clean as well...!

oops..did I say that out loud ?  :shock:

Unless theyve changed them the trackpad is terrible, really rough surface. Fingerprints are a massive problem with them too.

Nice machine in all other resepcts though
