GetDataBack NTFS?

You can get the trial copy to see if it can get the stuff back before paying.  Ive got a copy on my desktop box, provided its not had a low-level format it usually gets the info for you.

unfortunately not - thanks for the software suggestion bear

I forgot that I encrypted the drive before it was formatted, so bit of a loss
