Hi, so Im using a mobymemory 1gb RS DV MMC card for my Nokia N70 and been using it nearly a year, no problems. Im also using a 17 in 1 USB card reader from mobymemory which has been fantastic.

Well the other day, my memory card decided to corrupt rather nicely. It deleted all my music and pictures and filled the rest of the free space on the card with useless files. When I put the card into the computer it came up with dodgy files in the root of the card, each file was around 3gb.. haha. Anyway, I transferred my important files over to my laptop (images, tomtom, etc.) and then formatted the card on the phone. Now when I stick it back into the card reader to put my stuff back on, it crashes windows! Ive tried reading it on both my laptop and pc. Tried restarting both of them, etc. and nothing is working. It just stops responding.

Ive tried reformatting it on the phone, checking the card still works by using the file manager and it looks fine. Its just when I stick it in my card reader! Any ideas?

if you can get an adapter to make it full size, put it in a digital camera and let that format the card.  Fixed my 2gb MiniSD card when that became corrupt.
