I am creating an ajax, css, xhtml Menu bar that is a universal thing for lots of sites. It would sit at the top or bottom of a site and have core standard features for the site.
It will not be a site menu as that will be in the site itself, this is a bar with core features in regard to the site but also sister or related or similar sites etc and have relevent functions...
I have:
Websites -
When you click the Websites link a slidebox slides down from the menu offering you the website links to sister sites etc and a tooltip telling you what each is and the url
News Ticker -
Rather then certain site content news this will have site and sister site news in a flashing ticket with clickable links
Planned:
User login / cart link with drop down user profile or shopping basket
My question is what other features of a few sites that are standard that can go into this bar?
