You know what, I was about to come on here and complain there was no thread about it yet, and echo your sentiments. Total masterpiece from PIXAR, I absolutely loved every second of it and found it very touching too.

I think it could go in my Top 5 films, its definitely the film of the year for me if Batman cant top it.

I have not seen it yet but what I found interesting is that this is the Movie they wanted to make after Toy Story or nemo. I remember watching a program where they talked about sitting down and planing their future basically over lunch and they had nemo, story, monsters inc and wall-e all down on the scraps of napkins etc but Wall-E has taken its time to come out with some other concepts put in between.
I like the look of Wall-E and while The incredibles is brilliant, Cars, is all right in the recent movies from Pixar you felt that the magic they produce was not quit up to their standards but now back with this.

There has been a lot of talk about the future of the company in terms of the movies as in my thread with cars 2, toy story 3, incredibles 2 or a tv series of it all planned but talk of that some movies like cars 2 for certain are being leased out to smaller companies associated with them to make them so while the main Pixar guys may pencil out the story and concepts others will be making the movies. That concerns me a little and I hope Toy Story 3 will not fall under that category as I think these will miss that little bit of magic.

I think with movies like Cars you got that sense of Disney sticky their big beaks into the movie and probably the case of those films not feeling quite right from Pixar.

Interesting to see how the old git movie in the works will be.

Yep I read all that in the Cineworld magazine actually.

Im not a big cartoon/animated film fan, I find usually they are aimed at children but accessible by adults. This film is truly universal and endearing; you can tell a lot of thought went into every aspect of the story and attention to detail. Nothing is really said until the second half of the film, but its still moving watching Wall-E doing his thing in a desolate world.

Lots of people will not realise that there is a truck that appears in every pixar movie, things like the cones from toy story when they cross the road in the rubble, actual toy story toys and more.

Goblin

Also, at the part when BnL tells everyone to try blue instead of red, the figures in the advert are the stylised versions of the Parrs from the end credits of The Incredibles.

Oh, and Wall-Es startup sound is the Apple start up sound.
It's all fun and games until a 200' robot dinosaur shows up and trashes Neo-Tokyo... Again.
