Title: What Google Spreadsheets is good for

I discovered that you can just grab an html copy of a sheet, so if I wanted to share something like the simple sheet I made adding up what it would cost to build a cheap bike with internet sale bits and existing parts for a friend, I could simply link to the page, instead of sending them an .xls file:

Have you tried clicking that share spreadsheet link rather than copying the url?

Share offers two options, and requires email addresses. You can have folks "view" or "edit".

Why would there be a "get html" unless you could hotlink it? Hmm, you can download it and attach it like this I suppose:
