AMD 64 x2 6000
Abit KN9S
2GB Corsair Memory
nVidia 8800GTS 320MB
250GB SATA HDD
DVDRW

This card perhaps:
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-021-EA&groupid=701&catid=56&subcat=927
but not from overclockers

read somewhere that 450w+ of real/true power is needed, OCUK say minimum 500w, recommended 600w, i also read it needs a 12v @ 28A, ive not seen a single PSU with that much A on the 12v, or is it combined, cus i noticed most are 20a on 1, and say 18a on 2, im guessing this the rails, i was never an expert with psu and in time ive forgotten most stuff i do know, blame wow!

I know youve seen a million posts like this, but i know you all love it, especially since Bacon is asking and everyone loves Bacon!!  :)

Ps i dont overclock.

Corsair have good reviews, this one has 33A on a single 12v rail:

When I was looking I would have got this with 49A single 12v rail:

I ended up modding my Enermax 20-24pin and its working fine.

Nice one filbert, i have looked at some reviews and i think that could definately handle the setup i am looking at, the corsair is top notch :)

And that OCZ rocks as well, hehe i have choice, well it depends if ebuyer or similar shop has it that takes paypal :P

Used Enermax for a long time now, they get my vote.

Id go with Seasonic or PCP&C over any of those any day. They cost more, but you get what you pay for - quieter, better load management, etc.

Cypher

Hiper Modular PSUs have impressed me and very well priced for what they are.

My Tagan has been great for about 2 to 3 years now! its getting a little, and I mean a little noisy now.

Indeed, an amazing seller at Tekheads, quality PSUs, I have one myself. I dont remember ever seeing one come back either.

ordered the corsair, seems like a good value psu for around £40, and best of all used paypal funds :D

Have a Tagan 600w now with a similar setup to what you have(C2D setup).

I read a lot of bad feedback/comments about recent batches of Hiper PSU so ive decided to steer well clear of them
