So I just bought a PCMCIA USB port card and it came with a random cable.. nothing about it on the box and theres new instructions with it.

It has a keyboard/mouse female on one side, a male on the other, then a male USB twinned with a random shape male..
Any idea? All Ive thought of so far is maybe its for charging things but it couldnt be because very little devices actually have a full size USB port on!
Something similar came with my USB2 to 2.5" IDE adaptor. It plugs into the keyboard port or USB to provide the device with a small power boost.
Ahhh!! Youre right! :D Mystery solved!
I wonder what happens if I plug the cable into one of the USB ports on the card :P
