I think I must be

the darned thing doesnt work. Just like the remotes on every TV card Ive ever had anything to do with, it does nothing at all.

I have plugged in the cable (into the right hole, checked that one lol) installed the batteries in the remote and installed the software. I have a little picture of a remote in my system tray, but when I point the remote at the receiver and press buttons nothing happens

I tried Ring TFM but it doesnt mention the remote control once, except to say that the card is shipped with one.

The machine in question is a SokA Sempron 2500+ with 512MB, an nForce2 chipset, ATi 9200 GFX and Windows XP Home. Its about a year old and seems healthy (little sisters box which she asked me to install some new toys in this summer).

Got the eHome windows update for remote devices installed?

Does the remote work when flashed under a camera lense, such as a mobile phone.. ?
