I must have gotten incredibly lucky with my latest motherboard (MSI), its been by far the most stable and reliable board Ive used since the old Gigabyte boards back in the day and has actually been a damn sight better than my previous experiences with Abit. Admittedly I just cant be bothered overclocking anymore as there seems little point but Id still never rate it as a bad board, it just soldiers on and works without a hitch.

Its a good job I popped in here as I was planning on buying a new MSI sometime this year given how well this one has performed, I never would have imagined they had such a bad reputation. Ill give Gigabyte another bash in future I suppose.

Sorry for the thread hijack but what other manufacturers, particularly of hard drives, RAM and graphics cards, do you consider reliable with low RMA rates?

HDD have always been Seagate and Samsung for low return rates (Seagates have the epic warranty too).

RAM you cant really go wrong with Crucial and their lifetime warranty. Kingston do similar I believe and we never saw their modules come back. Good poor mans budget RAM was generally Adata I found when I was at Tek.
