Ok, I am getting pretty cheesed off with my mouse - Its a logitech V450 wireless laser thing. I bought it from tesco for my laptop. I have googled many different words to try and find a solution but it seems I am the only person having grief with this.

When I use my mouse on my home pc running XP it runs sweet as foook, no problems at all.

When I use my mouse on the laptop (Dell XPS 1530) the mouse lags now and again, sometimes i get 10 seconds of lag with it. Which when your sat at your desk with the laptop connected to ogame secretly and i need to minimise in a hurry this becomes scary.

I have replaced the batteries

I have downloaded the latest version of setpoint (Drivers)

Any suggestions?

something to note is that the mouse is at its most laggiest when I am reloading a webpage or downloading something - i have a vodaphone 3g usb connection, could it be linked?

Mongoose

on my Laptop the touchpad (USB connection internally I believe) lags like crazy if Im also copying something from a USB stick or card reader.

could be a similar issue?

Another possibility, could it be local interferance on the radio channel the mouse uses? have you tried moving the reciever and/or using the mouse in a different relationship to it?

Not bothered looking up the make but is it a wireless mouse or bluetooth?
If wireless - does your laptop have wireless on? look to change the frequency as this cocks up your mouse, had it on mine till I switched things
Bluetooth can also have similar problems

Uninterrupted cordless performance
Experience a powerful and reliable signal with 2.4 GHz Digital Cordless. No delays or dropouts even in the busiest wireless environments.

Its wireless, any clues on how to change the frequency?

lac

Logitech cordless mouse got a utility called Connect Utility to change frequency/channel but you cant actually choose your desired channel the program do this automatically. So check your disk for a similar program.
