My oblivion disc has decided to stop loading a few areas on the easten side of the map. I tried clearing the hard drive cache trick to no avail, so I was wondering if I DL an iso of the game, loaded on the original disk then swap when going to an area it wont load, would it read the data? or would it not try to read the disc.

(my 360 isnt chiped.)

Ive not got deep into screwing with the 360 but almost without doubt a non chipped xbox cannot play a standard burnt xbox iso

Your only hope is contact the game publisher and see if they will replace your disk.  Failing that look for a bargain and try and get it for £18.

Disc swap wont work.  Modifying your drive will most likely get your console barred from Xbox Live.
