I used to have the 360 set to 1280x1024 and then have widescreen set.  Then I realised it would be better at 1280x720 and doing aspect fill.

Mine isnt 22", its 20.5" ie 1680x1050

Ahh, thats right, 20.5". Agree about the lack of input swap. Its annoying as hell, especially when working on another machine & you need to reboot. It then swaps to the other input

A few sites (ie OCModShop) state you cant select 1920 using VGA?

I can select it on mine, screen cant support it though.  Are they connecting via VGA or Component?

you can select 1920x1080p on vga AND component,
still does interlaced if your components cant run 1080p, although id be tempted to run at 720p if that was the case for a slightly higher framerate.
