Unknown fish, (possibly a Pollack), freshly caught & blugeoned on the head by me two hours ago (gggrrrrr, caveman!), gutted by my mum & put in the fridge ready for lunch tomorrow

I dont take a camera with me cos its unlucky, but it was sorta like this but a little smaller;

The little toe-rag knackered the gears in my fishing reel


Also caught some mackerel, but they can take a real beating - the best way to kill em is to stick ya finger down their gob and pull their head up, snapping their neck. Which aint nice, so I always let em go free.

I went fishing once. Never caught anything. I have bopped a fish over the head though.

Dunno, but we got 2 good chipshop sized fillets out of him.

Ive been thinking of taking up fishing again but I would have to go piscean rather than veggie to eat any catch  :?

Actually my brother did his kippers in *MY* frying pan a couple of days ago and I didnt notice until I started to eat some fried bread that it hadnt been washed out  :x
