True Detective bit on the side?

Loving the show, and this was an unexpected additional perk.

I'm finding True Detective a bit slow to be honest. It feels as though they're trying to make it more than it is. But then I guess it's just well shot so even if it is slow, it's visually interesting most of the time.

I was about to give up on it by Ep. 4, but the final sequence redeemed it. I'm hoping that the finale tops it.
