Agreed, its the craftmanship and build quality that sets them apart in their price range though, they are some real enthusiasts watches. If you catch an LE on sale or clearance you can get a quality timepiece bargain. Id love their Rat Pack watch or one of the Diver models.

Did Apple make some of the parts for this watch?

While I have no proof I would like to think so! I think Apple makes lots of stuff for other companies but likes to keep quiet about it as they don't want to put everybody else off!

I know the plebs will be shouting "270 quid for a f**king 2m kettle lead!"   ...you have to just ignore their ignorance, after all it is a well known fact that electricity when it arrives at your home after travelling hundreds of miles down cables is perfect and the last few feet from the plug to your system makes all the difference.

You just have to look at the design to know Apple has had a hand in (and again keeping quiet about it!)  ...and the fact they even put it in a fridge for awhile to help it relax proves it is a quality product. They will even "burn in" the cable for you for the ridiculous low price of £15! (and to the plebs "No!" that doesn't mean they hook it up to the factories kettle for a few day to make the brews!)

I estimate your system will not only power up 3 times faster! but also sound 3 times better with this cable!

Hmm think you might be right, ...I guess they might have worked with Microsoft on the cheaper one, "10x" is bound to be a arbitrary figure just plucked out the air! with little thought of the outcome of making such a rash statement!

The 1700 quid one is quite clearly better than the one I linked  ...you can tell by just looking at the picture.

Is it titanium or a heavyweight version?

    It is stainless steel, it is heavy compared to my old titanium Seiko but I dont notice the weight after having it on for a few mins.
It is quite a lot larger than it looks in the first pic, My wrist size is 7 ¼" and my hands are about average sized, so you can see by the pic that it's a fair old lump!                              

That looks bigger on your man-giant hands than the casio pro-trek I got recently, and I only have a 6 1/4" wrist!

Aye, does look a bit of beast actually - still a good looking piece though. Mens accessories are all about the dark-hearted black tbh.

that is a damn fine time piece nice choosing!  

I could do with a new one, Ive had this fossil one about 5years now, it just refuses to have a fault or even the battery to run out.
