QuoteThe patent covers an interface that lets users navigate through a tree of expanding options, such as selecting an artist, then a particular album by that artist, then a specific song from that album, said Phil OShaughnessy, a Creative spokesman.

They patented teh logical way to navigate a hierological filesystem. How TF can you patent that? Absurd.

Theyve got software patents.

There was talk of them introducing them in the EU but it wont happen now. Quite an opposition against them in the industry.

Thing is they have absolutely no idea what they are doing with them, the patent in this case should never have been ussued.
