Hey guys,
next week I am on an important meeting with my business friends.
Therefore I need a good style.
I found this one here :
<link removed>.
What do you think about it ?
Thanks.

Hi, welcome to the forums.

That's a slim tie with isnt very classical, certainly considered more of a fashionable tie.

It will depend on what kind of business / people / meeting it is. I wouldn't personally wear anything but a classically styled tie to a business meeting.

Being the cynic I am and looking at the other posts by the user I expect this is an attempt to get page rank views :)

Happy to be proven wrong though  :-[

Guys, if you don't want the forums to stagnate then we need new members. If you treat them badly then they will just move on. I don't intend to let anyone go away from here with a bad impression.

We have plenty of moderators to handle problems, let them do the work.

As for the tie, it isn't to my personal taste but it isn't bad. To be honest I'm not bothered what sort of tie someone wears, it's personal choice. I prefer not to wear a tie personally unless I have to.

If you wear a coat it should look like any other tie.

get a grip - he's clearly a spammer

Dave the point was it's a pretty harmless type of spam and spammers can easily be banned/have their posts edited so there's no need to stick the boot in. Lurkers reading posts like your original one might be a bit more hesitant to sign up seeing that kind of thing and in any case I'd rather every time a spammer slips through the net we didn't end up with a long thread of posts to tidy.

Dave

I don't really see the big deal tbh... it was a tongue in cheek post that Serious decided to get serious about... and you didn't have a long thread of posts to tidy.

Clock'd 0Ne

No, but it is a needlessly long thread now with all this discussion  Your edit looks better and is much appreciated though

Unfortunately he's also edited a moderator, which is against the rules anyway.

I think it better this thread be closed.
