Title: Ataxia letter (MP)
Post by: Privateer on September 19, 2009, 09:40:57 AM
I cant get to China where they do Stem Cell, theres a clinic over here than that wont copy the Chinese, it was on Panorama the they referred to us as health tourist, if the idiots copied known successful treatments the money would be theirs, I emailed Panorama about their Stem Cell program, I got a auto reply even now they use that stupid auto reply, its impossible  to get hold of them hence this letter.

I was watching the program the other night about people on long term disability that dont need to be.

I have met some of these people in the past, milking the system for every penny they can get, usually its a lot of money, a ridiculous amount of benefit, no wonder they falsify illnesses, the gov needs to clamp down on it hard and free up spare cash for genuine cases like yourself.

Ps. This should be in serious discussion, as ill bet it will get serious pretty quick. ^^

2) It seems pretty promising to me? The guy said hes passing it on the the thingy Health Trust whatsit, so at least that some progress.

I cant remember if you have or not, but have you written to an MP/your local councillor?

exactly bacon.. but if you can get £200 for scratching your arse compared to £250 for doing a minimum wage job, what would you do?

Theres somthing wrong when people can live on welfare all their lives, have a 50" plasma, drive a car less than 5years old & have the full sky hd package.

Theres so many scams & tricks to get a few extra quid off the benefit that it would be impossible to catch everyone.. and everyone is at it.

I remember one case where a woman was claiming for about 5 kids, she then added another kid, saying she had had a baby.. 6 months later she added another kid.
It was only then they decided to check! - why arent they producing a birth certificate when claiming?

?

Tbh I was going to post the same but thought better of it. Were only looking out for you, people would point out the same for anyone else if they put up their address details etc.

it can be the other way around too, throw a few sproggs into it and the welfare package can near £400 a week and the person in cable of getting a job that pays more than £250 and they would have to pay for child care out of it.

its the system that is completely wrong, not the people who use it to their advantage

Seriously though, Ill edit it for you here if you want, you dont want your full address visible for all and sundry.

Whilst I agree that the system is at fault I dont think you can simply say that people are okay for using it to their advantage.

If youre not part of the solution youre part of the problem.

Two sides, yes there are some people milking it, but theyre relatively rare compared to those who dont claim extra. As to being part of the problem I would gladly work if I was fit enough to do so. I think Privateer would be more than willing to do the same.

Now look at it from a business perspective, would you prefer to employ someone who is fit or someone who isnt? There are plenty of fit people without jobs out there at the moment.

Dont be ridiculous, there is no black or white, right or wrong or no absolute truth on this

i know its hardly a good moral choice, but theyre not exactly going into the jobcentre and stealing money from them are they
