I know its been talked about before, but Im surprised you cant get a charity etc.. to help you out with it ?

hell it would probably be cheaper for the government to pay for you to go over once a year than give you the help you will be getting right now.... hell if you could work and pay tax theyre win twice over...

I didnt realise how bad you were until I just watched that van, not sure how to say this but its taking the piss when youre stuck using a zimmer frame when 16k could have you (pretty much) fixed!

do you talk on any other forums ?  Id think if we had a whip round here we could raise a couple of thousand... Id put a good chunk of that in myself... maybe some other forums would be the same ?

once you have a few thousand promised you could try and get a local paper to do a story, see if that brings any extra in, get mates/family/anyone do do some kind of sponsored run/walk/whatever to get some more publicity etc.. ?

Thats a joke between me and Brian McNeil, hes in China now his  local paper raised enough for 3 trips, Ive been in my  papers 3 times aswel not a penny raised, "he jokes and the Scottish are tight" also mny mate is a Landlord hes not raised a penny.

If I recall, didnt you have a lady from a local newspaper who was interested in you & wanted to publish article in the newspaper? What was the outcome of her in the end? Its a real shame that Ataxia is still not much well known in the public eye! I hope you manage to raise the money to get to China & get your treatment!

i swear this Ataxia is awkward everthing I try fails, I live in Fareham, Southampton 12 milers west and Portsmouth 10 miles east, I was in the Portsmouth news twice and the Southampton Echo once, Clare Semke from the Portsmouth didnt turn up last week Monday.
