Ok I went for it - with mums discount it came to £493.00 - pretty good for that spec I reckon. Got it home and it came with a nice DVI-VGA adapter which was lucky as I didnt have a DVI cable, and the media remote and wireless keyboard/mouse are ok but obviously theyre a bit cheap. Its a nippy little bugger and pretty quiet - reviews Id read said the bad points were noisy HDD and cheap looking case. I think they were being VERY picky - case is fine and the HDD certainly isnt noisy.

Set up was quick and the tesco software isnt too annoying - the firewall is actually not too bad and thankfully Vista recognises it so shuts up abouit security. However since the Vista install is Medion and Tesco branded I imagine most people on here would probably rebuild. Im going to see how well I get on with Vista - I certainly missed XP last night I must admit. However you got to start somewhere so Ill give it a few weeks.

Best thing is the amount of external interfaces - theyre everywhere and so useful. Have to get an esata external drive now just to be fancy lol!


All in all very pleased so far!
