Or whoever disabled it, theres about 7 or 8 of us that have no access to these forums still, and the ip + path method I linked to in the test forums is the only way, but youve disabled it.

Can you at least for this week just re-enable access, as Soopah, Bear, C_M and myself at home cant access this forum (along with others I cant remember)

Also a little attention from the admins over on the test forum wouldnt go amiss, unless your just viewing it and ignoring the pleas.

Doh. Back to trying to get referrer spoofing working.

I have the server ip in my hosts file.  That works for me.

Nope... as thats effectively what I was doing anyway. Using the IP of the server which took me to 7soft, and just adding the /tekforums/ on the end of it.

Now I get 404 errors as Sam or clocked have apparantly disabled it.

DH: Your method works. Mainly because your doing what I was trying to do with spoofing the headers on your making windows do the work

The site is apparantly rigged up to detect what host you entered into the address bar. Grrr.. bloody pain in the arse. Ive already posted the fix on the temporary forums so we should see Chris over here soon too.
