Got bored yesterday afternoon so decided to go visit this as I love military planes and Ive never been (its 20 mins from my house  :whoops: )

Really really impressed - wasnt expecting it to be anywhere near as good as it was, and didnt expect it to be free either! There was absolutely hundreds of planes and other exhibits and it didnt feel hugely different to the air and space museum in DC (which is amazing!). I even saw the airfix spitfire that James May made in his Toys program which Id actually only watched the day before on IPlayer so that was pretty cool.

Overall - big thumbs up. Def recommended and theres plenty there to make it a good few hours to see it all (whole day if your into reading all the exhibit info).

Its free? Awesome theres something for me to do to kill a day. Wont take long if I jump on the bike

Some places have open days so its best to check if its free all the time. Seems it is.
