That would certainly change the face of UK broadcasting.

A rather more obvious option would be to force News Corp, Murdoch's firm, to give up the 39% stake it holds in BSkyB.

They're robbing swines and need their pants ripping down and shagging good and hard up the arse, just like they have been doing to customers for years and years.

The content is better but the pricing is an absolute joke, especially for sports where they're currently out to get european laws overturned for pub owners who realised that there's more than just 1 satellite orbiting earth.

Tons of suckers out there pay full price, that's up to them but they don't understand that they're having your pants down everytime, a very standard deal is 5/6 months free, all you have to do is cancel and they will be back on the phone begging for your business.

well no.... pub owners show saturday games as well as the games sky show. There is a blanket ban on showing games on a saturday between 3pm-5pm - every country is allowed a 2 hour blanket for their domoestic league - this is so people go watch lower league clubs & their 2nd team & not sit at home watching the weekends big game.

I pay full price - 1st year I had 50% discount - for the extras I get by having sky, I find it very good value.... its good to share.

Hang on a minute Egg, weren't you one of those not so long ago advocating DVB cards, your own satellite and pointing the thing towards German airspace or something for free channels? Where's the change of tune suddenly come from?

FWIW I wouldn't go back to paying Sky now for anything, unless they started including all the HD channels as standard it's simply not worth paying their extortionate fees for Freeview + a few channels. The movie channels and sport on top take the pricing up to rediculous.

So for example you get sky uk & share it with others who offer sky de or sky italia or canal+, etc.... some places even charge upto 30 euros for a share of all these packages, so like I said, I find it good value - especially if you have a few friends you can recommend the package to 'o)

If there is a ban it's far more likely to be an attempt to get peeps off their collective arses and go see a match live rather than sit in a bar.
