QuoteWith regards to the £20 charge this is not illegal. The changes to penalty fee laws which have recently come in are regarding credit cards and not credit agreements such as your instalment account and ruled that charges should be fair not that they were not allowed.

Is that BS?

They still waived the fee :)
I know sh*ts bad right now with all that starving bullsh*t and the dust storms and we are running out of french fries and burrito coverings.

That number Vini posted is the number for the financial ombudsman.
If anyones got any persuasion with the banks, its them.

My own employees have just screwed me over for £50 for going 63p over my limit and for whatever reason have another £25 fee lined up for the 20th of this month!

Edit: Such a shame I need to wait for the test case to go through before I can do anything really.  At least ive notified them of my intentions to reclaim.

Ask them for it back, sometimes they will refund a fee/charge

No they wont.

Most banks are now refusing to refund or give a decision on any charges, until the test case has gone through.

The OFT has okayd this. You will get nowhere right now if you have a claim outstanding, or are yet to make a claim, until the test case is done.
