So there is live chat but it has all this great game support now so you can hook up the games into and it would be a great source for voice chat, normal chat, gaming and gaming chat for everyone.

I've been using Discord for a while and its really good

Same, it keeps getting better with its gaming features as well and it looks like they are making enough money to basically start creating their own steam store and start selling games.

I really hate Discord, can't get used to it. The thing tries to do too much. Don't force me to use this abomination!

Its the cleanest and simplest chat and voice service I have used for a long time. What do you hate about it?

I'm fine on voice chat but as soon as I try the text stuff it goes to crap. It is really confusing for me as to which channel where.

I have used Teamspeak for chat for years, so I'm very used to that.

That OK, Still have an older developer stuck in his older code editor. Frustrates me is a lot slower then the rest of us as a result but I let the developers use what they prefer as long as they keep to the format and processing I outline. I always try to try all new software and embrace change where it improves things but everyone us up to what they like.
I think you would get use to it but it would be nice if everyone was on there. I know some of you guys are online late as well and it would be good to have everyone engaging more dynamically and also maybe start hooking up for games in things a bit more.
This one point of call can achieve all that.

I've never heard of discord but must look into it!

I think more like TeamSpeak and forums, but more complex.
