Sorry to hear about your car.  Just be glad that noone was seriously injured.  It sucks that your car was destroyed, but it could have been much worse.  I hope the driver is severely punished and that you are compensated fairly for your car.

Im sure they will cover the 3rd party regardless, as I thought it was a legal requirement.

They wont do anything for the driver though.

If the car isnt burning then its best to leave any badly injured person where they are. In this case though I think he deserved everything he got. With luck hell be off work for a good few months. I have seen a similar crash where neither the driver or any of the passangers got out alive.

a few years back a drunk is a metro doing 60 in a 30 swerved and went head on into my brother comming the other way... in his transit van

everyone in the van walked away no problems, the 2 drunks in the merto were stuck in there for over an hour as the engine had moved back and pinned/crusshed there legs into position.....   WIN!

Right....as of now my insurace company are trating as a claim by me as we havnt got the other guys details off the poilce yet.

He tax ran out in feb.......05! Dont know if he had insurance, if he hasnt ill be suing his ass off, as will the company whos van he ended up against, and the guy whose fence he landed my car on!!

Not good at all I hate drink drivers with a passion, Ive lost a friend due to one, and nearly ended up dead my self because of an idiotic drink driver going down a one way road mounting the kerb and nearly knocking me over!

The first one is of the tree my car was shoved into & the side of my car the guy hit,

the second is the space wheel and boot floor folded up against my rear seats and then pushed forwards by about 1.5ft and the side of the car that hit the tree

The last one is his car...... notice the head impacted windscreen...We dont think either of the front seat passengers had a seatbelt on as the airbag didnt deploy
