Many moons ago when filling in the registration page back in, erm 2003, for the life of me I couldnt think of a decent nickname rather than just "Rob".

Thinking about it, the word Cypher came to mind, which quite simply means    something of no value or importance, which is how I felt about the meaning of a nickname/avatar.

At the time though I didnt know that Cypher was the american spelling, and Cipher being the british and correct spelling.  Though on the bright side, I cant help but look at the "correct" spelling and not help but pronouce it Cif-er and sound like some kind of domestic cleaning product.

The current picture is quite simply the one and only Hoff to honour our new lord of thine internet kingdom.

Which is probably why you ended up with an algorithm for encryption - quite a few words have more than one meaning.
