Title: Fireworks
Post by: Cypher on October 14, 2006, 18:54:54 PM
Some nut is setting off fireworks near me.

Maybe he just thinks its october instead of november.

Maybe he just feels like it, which I say fair play, why dont we just set them off all year round.  So long as they are safe(ish) hands who cares.  :D

there were fireworks round here too, unless you live near st helens, maybe theres some kind of celebration we dont know about?

(not to be racist but the housing estate i was on at the time i saw the fireworks was 90% indian population so maybe its a hindu holiday or something?)

The reasons usually that they loud enough that they break that anti social behaviour stuff when set off late at night (same reason most police cars dont use their sirens near houses early or late in the day).  Plus it scares the sh*t out of dogs.

I guess youve got a box near you.  One of those shops that they sell for a couple of months a year to people who then change the name to whatever theyre selling i.e. christmas box halloween box firework box.  They started renting them up here at start of month so fireworks a plenty lol.

As long as that stupid thing where they fire rockets through letterboxes with weights on the stick (so it flies up stair cases and explodes on the upper floors) doesnt reappear in Newcastle its all good.

Bring on the booms and pets crapping themselves lol.

Some chavs fired rockets at me and some mates once when we were down the park playing footie. We chased them into the woods and beat a few shades out of them. Never had any problems in that park again. 8)
