anyone tried these 'put them in and leave them in for a month' contact lenses?

couple of people I know why use contacts I asked have never heard of them...

had an eye test the other day, I need glasses

I think I'd prefer contacts, optician said to get glasses first to get used to them, guess I'll need some anyway so it's no biggie... -2.5 in each eye so I'm not that bad

said I'd go back with g/f so she can pick the frames, I haven't got a clue :-o

Supposed to be OK but more hassle.
You 100% get more dry eyes then you should and for me I find by 2/3 weeks your vision is more blurred. This is after having 1 day contact lenses for some time so already used to them.
If you not worn them before stick to the thinner day ones. Making sure enough fluid is on them, putting them in, taking them out is a thing to get used to but also how your eye has to get used to having them there. Your eyelids blink on them, move them, eye lids may be uncomfy for a bit etc.
For a while for me mine would shift and get stuck in the corner of my eyes.
Your eyes just need time to get used to them but I could never get used to the little thicker month ones.
Everyone is different but It was not for me.

oh, I didn't know they're thicker or about the dry eyes thing....

also just went to order some 1 day ones online and hadn't realised I need I need extra measurements, size of eye, base curve etc. etc.

vision express where I had my eyes tested didn't give me that stuff... think I need to get my first set from them and then (fingers crossed) all that info will be on the first box they send me.... tho I wouldn't be surprised if it isn't... cheap eye tests to get you in the door then you're stuck with them :-s

I have no experience of these things, but I have heard stories from people about forgetting to take lenses out and getting all kinds of nasty eye infections, etc. So if you're not strict with looking after them or might forget they are there it's possibly not the best idea.
