Ive added the * but probably isnt worth it as the whole world must know it.

2 things come to mind. Either they got your address through whois records for a domain you registered and didnt opt out of having your details hidden, or they are a "legit" company that got the details passed on from another company that you gave your details on, and did/didnt tick the box about passing on details/getting contacted.

Either way Id be inclined to see if you can find out where they got the info from, if possible without getting spammed further...
