I was driving from Sheffield to Birmingham, and just to the left of me was a blond haired woman in a black Megane cabrio thingie, with a large Northern Soul decal in the side window.
I reckon that was Soulgirl.

Who knows, maybe she will pop her head in again at some point! I thought she would still be driving her pink Scooby

soopahfly

That's a good point.  I forgot about that scooby.

knighty

we're all getting old, the scooby was a long time ago now!

Clock'd 0Ne

Yeah, but it would be like you giving up on the Jags

I have!

well.... I've still got the XJR because I haven't sold it yet... it's been sitting about a year now

it's a shame to sell it, but I cba getting in and out of it anymore, it was fine till I hurt my back then it killed me just driving it

got a range rover now, felt like I was driving a slug till I got used to it.... feels quick now... but moved jag the other day and holy sh*t I forgot how fast it is

the only time I notice it is when I'm overtaking.... come up a slip road and join the motorway, pull out to overtake a lorry and floor it.... and then you realised it's already giving everything it's got, there's no more acceleration.... the Jag always had more.... if only because it was so quick you were always holding back, it was too fast not to

p.s. nige you should buy an XJR.... I know a lovely one for sale 400hp supercharged 4.2l v8, all aluminium so it's only 1700kg, 4 pot Brembo's all round.... aww I don't want to sell it anymore :-o

it's taking up space tho, time to get shot of it :-(

I don't even have the space on my driveway for it right now, but once I've moved house if I've got room and you've still got it lying around I might consider it, even if I just keep it for a bit to remember what driving a fast luxury car was like instead of the Leaf!

Also, when did you get another student gf?!

serious or just thinking?  I'd be happy to keep it for you, it's a shame to sell it, it really is spot on, the heater sometimes doesen't blow hot on the drivers side... apart from that can't think of a single thing wrong with it

it's the same one... broke up for a while... I started to fall for her and thought she was too young and not into me so put a stop to it before it got too serious.... back together now and never been better

still feel like a pedo.... I remember thinking at least she's older than my niece.... yeah turns out she isn't :-o

Clock'd 0Ne

Congrats then, she's a stunner anyway :D

As for the car, don't hold onto it on my account if you really want to shift it, but in the unlikely event that you still have it by the time I've moved house and my finances are in order again I might be tempted, I'll give you a nudge.
