DEViANCE

Worst delivery company ever.

Anyone else ever had anything 'delivered' by them?

Yes, they are absolutely dire. The problem with co's setup like this and HDN is that they don't employ proper delivery staff, it's any mug with a car/van and consequently because they employ a lot of scrubs your packages end up thrown about, crushed into a van or bootspace and delivered whenever they feel like it. I won't use them anymore as its not worth the hassle, I'd rather pay a couple of quid more on www.parcel2go.co.uk or www.pharosparcel.com for a reputable company like DHL.

Having a crushed package would be a start. So far I have missed 2 attempted deliveries and if I miss todays then it gets RTS problem is I'm one of those odd people that have to go to work.

They wont let me collect it from depot, they wont leave it in a safe place or with a neighbour and they wont tell me when the driver is coming.

Wtf  :dunno:

hermes dont have a depot. they are self employed joe public. my delivery agent is decent, she comes around later in the evening if I am out during the day.
They only get paid per delivery, I guess it depends how busy & customer focused they are.

As Egg pointed out, the one parcel i received turned up at nearly 10pm at night, but i would prefer after 6pm deliveries if given the option.

They tend to just leave stuff here.

They left a package for the previous tenant once so I had to call them up to collect it to return to sender, another time they left a package in the wheelie bin..

I had a parcel turn up in the wheelie bin for the first time the other week. It's a clever place to leave things, assuming the bin is empty and clean, and the occupier sees the note.... ><

Unless it gets emptied before the occupier comes home. :P

id be on the phone to whoever I bought the item from asking wheres my item.
If they can afford to use crap delivery service who leave stuff about, then they can afford to send me a 2nd item :oD

we do loads of deliveries... and loads of people leave notes when they're not in asking for the delivery to be left in the bin

most use the recycling bin and leave the money for the delivery in the top box bit too

was a bit odd at first... but works quite well

bit different for us tho because it's 99% regular customers who get the same thing at about the same time every week/fortnight/month
