I love it when people go to a hot country then complain about the heat. Try Moscow next time

I soaked up Egypt like a man, none of this "too hot" business - shirt off, pirate  pecs oiled and muscles flexed.  

34 DegC seems to me to be quite cool for somewhere like Egypt

It was high 30s minimum and more often in the 40s when I went.

Had a few days in a mobile home at the site up by St Marys lighthouse. Got back last week and Yesterday Mum had to go into hospital.

At least it didnt happen during the hols I suppose :/

Another woman was in the same hospital ward who had just started her holiday. Seems shes got cancer and not that long to live. She was warned about the possibility of what might happen but decided to go anyway :shock:

Go to Bagdad and get up to 50Ã,° C  

I didnt mind the heat during the day, got used to it quite quickly and it was nice but it was the heat at night stopping me getting to sleep or waking up in the middle of the night and not being able to get back to sleep that was a little annoying.

But somehow I think 50 might be a little too warm.
