Title: How exactly is this "news"
Post by: Cypher on January 24, 2009, 19:19:09 PM
"Prince Harry and girlfriend split"

Dear god how will the Monarchy survive.

No really, I feel sorry for him, he cant do anything without it being public or judged.  They might as well replace his brain with a pre written script with what to do with his life.

Effectively its gossip but that sort of thing goes down well with Sunday paper readers and especially the Royal watchers.

I have heard a rumour that she found his secret stash of naughty knighty pics and shes left him because he refused to share with her!!!!

how is it not news tbh....

ever since the first newspapers were published they carried stories/gossip about aristocrats/royals etc..

its only more recently that weve had the whole celebrity thing going OTT - but a story about a prince - think youll find that would have been news back in 1700 too
