one of the lads from rugby years back was dared while drunk when we were all out in town to jump off the railings into the road as a taxi was coming to get it to stop - broke his leg.
1 Year later same month he did the exact same thing and broke the other leg

Chances are as he rolled there would be rather less damage than there might have been, still could have broke his neck or the base of his skull.

Sometimes these end up dead though, except I doubt if the video would have ended up on youtube if he had died.

Ive treated a similar one. Went over the balcony in the old Newcastle Mayfair Club, about eleven feet. He got a base of skull fracture and there was nothing we could have done to save him despite us trying our best. Didnt even manage to get him out of the building alive.
