Thats the whole point, you stuff yourself full of pizza out of some decision that you have a god given mission to get as much value for your dosh as possible and we end up with a country full of fatsos who then die of colesterol poisoning...

Ive eaten the buffet for the past two weekends, 5 platefulls stacked high with greasy, dripping pizza and I feel fine (I did five hours after the food had settled at least)

Its the only way to get good value out of eating out. Ill be going to an all you can eat chinese soon too.

Banning it would be a crime.

Looking at the poll results I can Im very much in the minority. I guess I am in favour of banning all you can eat offers especially when it is offered by a fast food chain like Pizza hut. Why? Its crappy processed food.

Dont get me wrong, I love pizza.

I just hate plastic cheese made out of oil (blegh, the thought just made me ill)

Edit: Clocked has pointed out something extremely valid; Chinese buffets.

Although Ive been poisoned by some grim establishments in Durham as a student, I dont think I could do without the occasional trip to Stowl street in Newcastle. All you can eat muscles in black bean sauce for a fiver--quality.

Pizza hut cheese has added oil as, traditionally, pizza is drizzled with oil befor baking

You want to ban it because you dont think it tastes nice? How ridiculous.

Sam

Even asking if we should ban all you can eat is ridiculous. Lets ban anything that has a cost to the NHS.

So out goes beer, sports, transport.

The only things that should be banned are those that affect others - aka passive smoking.

And those of you who complain that fatsos cost the NHS too much money - Im sure none of you have a cost to society either.

I agree with Sam, youd have to include a lot more to that list of things to ban if you want to help people make a choice on how to live their lives.

All you can eat isnt the reason people get rediculously fat, people themselves are the reason (not counting anyone with some medical condition of course).

Not saying it wouldnt do the world a bit of good to ban stuff thats bad for people, but youll have to include a lot more to the list than just all you can eat buffets ^^.

Passive smoking does dick to health compared to fast food advertisements.

lol max.

If someone is stupid enough to gorge on fast food for every day of their life. Then they deserve to be obese. The facilities are available for people to keep fit, and there are alternate choices of food establishments.

Why ban all you can eat!?

Personally the most ive managed from a pizza hut all you can eat is 3 plates... and thats a majority of coldslaw. 3 plates = struggling too, fills me up real fast, and I cant finish.

All you can eat = Win!

Even the most unhealthy/tastey foods are allright in good moderation.

Ie the sort of person who might go into pizza hut/McDonalds once a week to once a month.   I am sure even the most healthy eating of us are guilty of going for the quick food / late night snack option from time to time.

Ill eat the greasiest, nastiest junk of a weekend quite happily to offset what I eat during the week. I feel sorry for the binge drinkers that religiously put away 10 pints and a kebab every weekend following the friday night takeaway, they will be the ones feeling it in time.

Yes, but that more balanced than most, some just eat takeaways and junk food every day.
