Those of the younger generation may not of course remember half of the following:
1981 & 2005 - Two Interesting Years
Interesting  Year 1981
1.  Prince Charles got married.
2.  Liverpool crowned soccer Champions of  Europe .
3.  Australia   lost the Ashes.
4.  The Pope died.

Interesting  Year 2005
1. Prince Charles got  married.
2.  Liverpool crowned soccer Champions of  Europe .
3.  Australia   lost the Ashes.
4.  The Pope died.
Lesson  to be learned:
The  next time Charles gets married, someone should  warn the  Pope

LOL :)

Last years Rugby Word cup held in New Zealand. New Zealand V France Final, NZ win. Only the second time NZ has won the world cup. The last time was the last time the world cup was in New Zealand where they played France and won.

History has an odd means of repeating itself in interesting ways, you can find lots of things like this that occur, I have always found it fascinating.
