He's had worse 
when I went to A+E they bandaged me up, said if it's still alive tomorrow we'll fix it back on, if it's dead we'll take it off
back the next day, surgeon takes a look, all good he says, it's alive and doing well, we'll fix it back on
then they left me sitting in the waiting room 9 hours
on the operating table they un-bandaged it, said it's dead we'll have to cut it off... crossed everything off on the consent form they'd had me sign, wrote new stuff on and had me sign it laying flat on the operating table
pretty pissed off about that
and I've just realised... overnight bandage was tight holding it on... after they checked in the morning and re-bandaged it wasn't tight... weird it survived 12hours, overnight, me bumping it in my sleep etc. then died in the waiting room... bet it wasn't pushed on tight enough
