I also use JANET in the day, that's been fine tbh  :-\

Clock'd 0Ne

If anyone still having trouble would be kind enough to drop in a traceroute and what ISP/service they are using that would be appreciated, I'll have a portfolio of awful results to compare then.

Running fine for me at the moment, but here is mine, I'll post again when it goes slow again, but seems that it is basically Virgin and expect escalating anything to them will get you nowhere!

OK So I haven't even been able to access Tek for an hour!, Just tried wireless tethering via my mobile and no issues!

Ok maybe a coincidence, but it's working fine now?!?! Has the forum actually been down?

Mine went out briefly for about 10 minutes earlier, and the tracert picked up nothing! It's really starting to annoy me now! As now when it stops working it's not just slow but doesn't work what so ever, but fine on non virgin!

It seems very reliable other than on Virgin, I've not noticed any downtime. I imagine phoning Virgin tech support for their take on this would be as useful as a chocolate teapot.

XEntity

Yep I thought about that, and assumed it would get me nowhere, especially speaking to first line support!

If I get any more significant problems, I might give them a call as the call is free, it will only be wasting my own time!

soopahfly

I've been experiencing slowness and downtimes today on O2

That's exactly what it's like most of the time, although once, a year or two ago now, I managed to get patched through to a woman that knew her stuff, remotely logged in to my box and sorted out the issue, think it was to do with TV on demand at the time. I expect there are the rare people there who actually know stuff!

I expect getting through to someone who actually knows about the routing for webpages is non existant though

GaviN

Still slow for me.

Hmm almost immediate here! There's only one thing for it... register tekforum.net and register it on another server :P
