Title: It's official - HUNG PARLIAMENT
Post by: Serious on June 09, 2017, 07:09:47 AM
Just after 6PM Labout got the seat it needed to stop the Conservatives having a majority government. They would need support of another party in order to form a government.

UKIP collapsed almost completely

I agree, use a very strong rope with at least a 5 year guarantee.

Kensington still hasn't declared after 2 recounts, Conservatives have asked for a third and say they will keep asking as long as they are not denied another recount.

I Guess this result is extremely close and the previous counts went against them. The counters were sent home, exhausted and too tired to count.

A third recount will be made later today or maybe tomorrow.

So Labour somehow got Canterbury and late yesterday Kensington and Chelsea too. That is, in political terms, quite surprising. Canterbury has been Conservative for almost 100 years.

They should both be rock hard conservative seats.

It's only time before Tories start 'sharpening their knives' for May. Winning more seats would have put her in the position of Margaret Thatcher MK2.

Edited for accuracy
